Political education ain’t just about voting or knowing who in office. It’s about understanding the systems that been running our lives — like racism, white supremacy, capitalism, and colonialism — and how they show up in our everyday. It’s learning why our neighborhoods got more liquor stores than grocery stores, why police stay watchin’ us harder than they protecting us, and why our schools stay underfunded. But more than all that — it’s about knowing what we can do about it.
It teach our babies their history — not just slavery and Martin Luther King, but revolutions, resistance, and the brilliance of our people from the motherland to the block. It teach them their rights — how to protect themself in the classroom, in the streets, and in the system. It shows them their power — how to organize, build, and check these systems that try to hold us back. And it lifts up their voice — how to speak truth, with strength, clarity, and purpose.
Why It’s Urgent Now
Right now, our youth getting hit from all sides — the school-to-prison pipeline, social media lies, violence in the streets, and a system that don’t care if they sink or swim. Folks out here selling false dreams, distractions, and self-hate wrapped up in clout and chaos.
And real talk? If we don’t teach them, somebody else will — and not everybody out here got they best interest at heart. That’s why Team RBG ain’t letting that slide. We making sure our youth not only understand the world around them, but know how to flip the script. They ain’t just gonna survive this — they gonna lead.
How To Build
We have to create workshops, community circles, youth-led convos, and real-deal organizing. We must create safe space where young folks can ask what they need to, learn from elders, and connect the dots between what they going through and the bigger picture. They will learn how to lead — not just for show, but with knowledge, purpose, and power.
We not here to preach or push nobody. This about building with our youth, not talkin’ at them. This about making sure they informed, confident, and ready to move how they need to move.

Political education ain’t a luxury — it’s survival. It’s how we turn pain into power, and confusion into clear purpose. It’s how we stop following and start rising. Our youth already got what it takes — we just gotta make sure they got the knowledge to match.
Revolution start in the mind. Let’s make sure they ready.
